School Rules for Student and Parents

KMR international school believes in providing a healthy and positive environment for students and Parents/Guardians. Student’s welfare is of prime importance and academic achievement is monitored too.

Rules for students while in school premises:

  • In order to achieve the best results, all students are asked to succumb to the common rules operating in classrooms, respect teachers and finish homework on time to highest possible standard.
  • Look after all school property such as desk, chairs, white boards and all other items in the class rooms.
  • Students are advised to use dustbins to dispose the unwanted papers.

Rules for Parents

Parents/Guardians are requested to share the school rules to their children and provide an ambience for studies at home too.

  • We encourage a close relationship between the parents and school , to ensure the best outsome of children.
  • Parent can meet the teachers at Schooll between 3.30 and 4.30 P.M. with the prior intimation through diary.

Promotion Rules

  • Promotion to the students from Class I to VIII be given on the basis of the formative and summative assessments.
    (I) Class Tests (2 in a session):20 % (Weightage)
    (ii) Project Work Practical work/Class Room Activities/Class Work/Home Assignments/Interaction etc. 20% (Weightage)
    (iii)1st Semester Exam (Summative Assesment 30% (Weightage)
    (iv) Grades will be awarded as per CBSE Norms
    (v) A child can be promoted to next class only if/she secures a minimum of ‘D’grade in all subjects
    (vi) Any child getting a grade below’D’ will have to appear in the improvement exam to be held in April for improving his/her grade. If still he/she is not a secure a minimum of ‘D’ Grade, he/she has again to do the same (Class I-VIII)
    (vii) Every student will be given some project work, practical work, assignment, other creative activities etc. which will be assessed in Formative assessment
    (viii) Parent/Guardian or ward desiring re-totalling should apply in writing to the Principal along with the requisite fees of Rs. Per subject within three days of declaration of the results.
